Robotic Equipment for Sewer Mainline Maintenance

This water-powered, robotic system is specifically designed for the removal of roots, rootballs, grease, fat, concrete, scaling and hardened calcium deposits from within sewer mainlines of all pipe materials without damaging the pipe. The application range is from 6" up to approximately 32" pipe diameter. Available water pressure units are from 500 bars (7250 psi) up to 2800 bars (40,000 psi). This system is a high pressure, low volume technology: water consumption range from approximately 4 to 6.5 gallons per minute throughout the available pressure ranges.

This system is modular and multi-functional; a single base unit can be equipped with various other modules for performing additional applications, such as: mechanical cutting of protruding laterals or pipes, reinstating lined laterals, cutting/grinding out rebar from mainlines, conventional CCTV camera pipe inspection and installing mechanical point repairs.

Robot Base Units

R125 Transporter - 6"

The heavy duty stainless steel R125 Transporter is modular and compatible with various job specific equipment modules for underground pipe inspection, cleaning, cutting and rehabilitation for lined 6"-15" pipes. The compact R125 features a powerful 4x4 drive-train, 400 degrees rotation and the twist-and-lock mechanism to quickly exchange equipment modules within 60 seconds. The R125 uses the same control unit, high pressure unit, cable reel and high pressure hose reel platform as the R160.

R160 Transporter - 8"

WJ190

HA125

The HA125 is the most powerful cutter robot for lateral reinstatement and cutting protruding taps that easily fits inside 6-20" storm and sewer pipes. The Sewer Robotics HA125 features a powerful cutter motor, 8" ram lift, 90 degrees pivot, great camera visibility with lens cleaner and very precise and operator friendly controls.

 

HA165

The HA165 cutter robot has a vertical cutter lift for precise reinstating service connections and cutting protruding laterals from 8-20" sewer pipes. The Sewer Robotics HA165 features a powerful water- or electric driven cutter motor, 3" vertical cutter lift, great visibility from the front-placed camera with lens cleaner and very precise and operator-friendly controls.

 

HA195

The HA195 large and powerful cutter robot is used for precise reinstating service connections and cutting protruding laterals from 10-30" pipes. The Sewer Robotics HA195 rehabilitation robot features a powerful water- or electric driven cutter motor, great camera visibility with lens cleaner and lens wiper and very precise and operator friendly controls.

 

CCTV Inspection & Point Repair

CCTV pipe inspections, UV patching and installation of part liners and spot repair sleeves inside storm, sewer and water pipelines. Sewer Robotics pipe inspection and spot repair robots feature a pan & tilt camera and air coupling to connect to UV patching and spot repair packers.

 

CAM125

The CAM125 robot features a camera and packer connection for CCTV inspections and spot repair installations in 6-15" storm and sewer pipes. The Sewer Robotics CAM125 pipe inspection and spot repair module is compatible with the same multi-functional robot used for pipe cleaning, deposits removal and lateral reinstatement cutting.

 

CAM160

The CAM160 robot features a camera and packer connection for CCTV inspections and spot repair installations in 8-20" storm and sewer pipes. The Sewer Robotics CAM160 pipe inspection and spot repair module is compatible with the same multi-functional robot used for pipe cleaning, deposits removal and lateral reinstatement cutting.

UV Patching & Short Lining

The innovative UV light curing short liner and patching system easily renovates damages like longitudinal or radial cracks in 4-16” pipes. Using an inflatable LED packer, the pre- impregnated fiberglass liner is positioned, inflated and cured fast and easy as the UV light reduces curing time to 10 minutes.

Lateral Cleaning & Root Cutting

The LAT160 robot can be used in combination with an inspection camera or high pressure cleaning nozzle to perform lateral inspections or cleaning operations. The LAT160 is launched from 10-30” main pipes.

Nozzle Technology

C70 Video Jetting Nozzle

The C70 video cleaning nozzle captures HD video while cleaning pipelines of 6” – 28” diameter. It features 8 exchangeable jet inserts for pipe cleaning and a camera module with auto-upright picture. This self-sufficient system is battery-powered and stores the video recordings on a SD-card inside the nozzle. As soon as the nozzle is visible in the manhole, the video can be downloaded to a tablet via Wi-Fi and the operator can review it.

 

SCIM2800 Nozzle

The SCIM2800 Pipe Cleaning and Descaling tool can be used with high pressure water, up to 2800bar (40,000psi), for the removal of corrosion, tuberculation, calcium and scaling from 4" – 32" diameter pipelines. The SCIM2800 descaling tool is adjustable in RPM with high pressure jets, or lances in larger diameters, at a 90 or 45 degree angle with the pipe surface for controlled intense cleaning.

Installation Options

Sewer Robotics rehabilitation robots can be used mobile or installed in a van, trailer or box truck as stand-alone system with water and electric supply.

 

Mobile Unit

The mobile configuration is composed of an electric cable reel and control unit case with all SR-SERIES robots and their according job-specific modules. An economic and versatile solution for sewer rehabilitation operations such as precise and powerful lateral reinstatement cutting, cutting protruding taps, obstacle removal, etc.

 

Van or Trailer Install

The Van and Trailer skid provides an ergonomic and operator friendly configuration that easily slides in most Vans and Trailers. This skid unit is compatible with all our hose and cable reels, as well as all robots and our job-specific modules for lateral reinstatement, water jetting, camera inspection and spot repair.

 

Box Truck Install

Sewer Robotics provides complete and stand-alone installations with water and power supplies, storage, operator-friendly controls room and high pressure unit. These installations are according to your personal requirements and inside a box that fits your chassis specifications. Upon completion of the installation and testing, the box is shipped to your location where it is placed on top of the chassis.
